Description

This is another Squaw classic, right under the Headwall chair for all to view.

Headwall Face is a wide steep face with an eastern exposure.

It's steeper on skiers left.

Bring your "A game" as there are many long slides when skiers fall on this run. From the top of Headwall, make the 180 degree left turn and head down the ridge, follow the chair line to the Headwall Face.

Stay to the right of the chair for the steeper portion, or traverse left where it's not quite as steep.

You can stay on the run by staying fall line to the Mountain Run or bear left towards the top of Squaw One Express to follow Sunnyside down to the Mountain Run.

There are some rocks in the steepest part of the face, so keep your eyes open.
