Description

Starting point is the car park at the upper end of Reichenbach. We follow the private asphalt road blocked by a barrier a short way up.

After a right turn, it rises steeper.

Here our signposted Tobelweg branches off to the left. Artificial and natural rock steps soften the flow velocity and accompany our ascent with a loud roar.

Steel lattice staircases and a bridge overcome the heart of the rage and become a true photo motif.

Then rocky steps and a slightly delicate rock barrier bring us to a turbine house.

On the following steps we can enjoy the approx.

20 meter high waterfall without any worries and afterwards our romantic tobeldurchstieg ends comfortably on the Bergstraße. After 100 meters this street would go up to the left to the restaurant Gaisalpe.

But we choose the following nature trail straight ahead and then turn left up to the Richteralpe. For the way back from the hut to the car we suggest the safe road.

The descent through the Tobelweg would be a real challenge for the inexperienced hiker, especially in damp conditions. equipment
