Description

Glory Days lives up to its name.

This run is also known as Penny Dawgs Exit, as it is the "exit" route for the ski patrol avalanche team.

Starting from the top of the ridge at the end of The Highway to Penny Dawgs, head straight down through the most open section.

Watch for a wind roll that forms here.

Glory Days is the most straightforward line in this more remote section of Northway.

Intermediate and advanced skiers and riders wanting to challenge themselves should try this run first before venturing to Puckers or Brand X.

Stay in the fall line here, as there are cliffs on either side.

Once past the first set of trees, the route becomes clear.

At the elevation of Penny Dawgs cliffs, which will be on your right, Glory Days also gets steep.

Watch for some rocks on either side.

Continue straight down between some trees.

Here you can either veer left above the chair to hit Tower 10 cliffs, or keep going straight and a little to the right, through a glade.

Watch for some rocks here as the last headwall steepens.

Join Northway Run to the bottom for another lap.

Note that once through the gates to Northway, cliffs and other hazards are not marked.

This is avalanche prone terrain.

Carry the proper equipment and ski/ride with a partner.
