Description

Despite what the name suggests, this isn’t named after an ancient local transvestite.

It is a short section of fantastic introductory off piste that runs down next to where there was once a button lift called Clot Gauthier.

The lift was removed some years ago, and this has been a blessing for this particular off piste line as it now requires a short hike (maximum 10 minutes) to get to.

Facing northeast, the slope gets limited sun and therefore holds cold snow long after a storm.

The wind can of course wreak havoc from time to time but overall this slope is calling out for less advanced off piste skiers and snowboarders in particular.

Access is via the Eychauda button lift then the Creux du Loup black run.

Take the path to the end then take the skis off and walk up the wide ridge.
