Description

Usually West Baldy is overlooked by people that go around the corner to the Fields of Glory.

You can use this to your advantage when the snow is good, however this area sees a lot of sun and the snow is effected quick! This can make for some great sun softened skiing in the afternoons or in the spring -careful in the mornings! This is another area with plenty of unmarked hazards and closeout chutes.

Don't be afraid to sidestep back out, and be careful of people below you on the lower traverse!
