Description

From the Steffisalp-Express mountain station turn right immediately and pass under the lift in the direction of Wannenkopf.

Follow the road to the sign "Bürstegg" (turn right).

From here it goes mostly downhill over the "Stony Bühel", where you can admire huge amounts of yellow gentian.

Past some "Tannberg points" (= information on the theme trail "On the tracks of the Walser at Tannberg") you will reach the once populated Walser settlement of Bürstegg.

Treat yourself to a little rest, admire the small houses and stables and above all the wonderful view back to the beaver's head.

Continue in the direction of Schöneberg, from there always walk in the direction of Bodenalpe.
