Description

Instead of heading straight into the main Grand Vallon route, traverse to the left along the ridge before descending a short pitch to a well-defined saddle.

Stay high and cross the saddle to access a treasure-trove of fun "mini-golf" terrain.

A variety of short chutes and cliffs drop down to your right back into the main Grand Vallon bowl.

The best approach is to tick one off and then scope the next on your traverse back to the Pyramides chair for the next lap.

The further round you traverse, the more vertical you unlock, until eventually you reach the end of the ridge with slopes leading directly back to the bottom of the Pyramides chair.

With all of these variants, be sure there aren't skiers skiing or traversing below you.

If you trigger an avalanche on any of these steepish slopes and there is a group below you, you're likely to ruin their day!
