Description

Strainer is the first open area on skiers left as one starts down Lake view.

It is steep, never groomed and usually protected from the weather.

It has a NE exposure.

As you work your way down, make sure you look for the tracks heading to the right that bring you back to Lake View trail so that you don't end up on the golf course and have to walk back.

Basically stay skiers right of the chair.

Watch out for rollers and small drop offs as you get closer to the chair.

About 800 feet of vertical.

A great run on powder days.

You can ski thru the trees to skiers left or on the ridge to the right as well.
