Description

The starting point of our hike - in the footsteps of 19th century painters - is the village centre of Ramsau.

From here we walk along the Ramsauer Ache to the Marxenbrücke bridge.

Here we cross the main road and enter the magic forest.

On the well-developed hiking trail we reach the Hintersee.

Our further hike leads us first along the shore and then to the parking lot at the Klausbachhaus.

This is also the departure point for the ALM experience bus.

Now you have the possibility to take the bus to the Hirschbichl or back to the starting point.

The path from Ramsau over the glacier springs in the magical forest to Hintersee is also cleared in winter.
