Description

West Headwall is the second chute of the Cirque, with an amazing view from the top of the world! If you can’t handle extreme steepness, drop-offs, narrow couloirs and tight trees, do everyone a favor and don’t come to this area of the resort.

This is the place to take that cornice jump into powder like you’ve always dreamed of! The cornices of the Cirque are well maintained for avalanche danger by the Winter Park Ski Patrol.

Snow at the top of the Cirque can be windblown and crusty, with creamier snow below in the trees.

The easiest way down is in between the West and South Headwall, but to be truthful, there are NO easy ways down The Cirque.
