Description

Pony Express Trail is a steep, narrow, expert bump run directly under Pony Express Lift.

This lift is not always open on weekdays, so even though it’s accessible from all the upper Mary Jane lifts, this trail could be one of the last to get tracked up because the access is not that easy.

The bumps are off-kilter, but there are trees called “The Pony Chutes” on the left that have great tree skiing when the snowpack is fat.

The farther down you go in the trees, the steeper and rockier it becomes (not a good idea early season).
