Description

The starting and finishing point of this round tour is the Rothorn summit, which can be reached comfortably on foot or by the Rothorn Railway.

The trail leads from the Rothorn mountain station first to the Rothorn east summit from where you have a magnificent view of the surrounding peaks and valleys. The path then follows below the ridge towards Älplihorn, before you reach the Totälpli after crossing the ridge.

Hard to believe, living in this inhospitable barren landscape at almost 3000 m.
