Cantiere Freeride Run Map

Without any doubt the most famous off-piste run of the whole Tonale area, which runs through the upper part of the beautiful Val Presena - this valley is easy to access and a true freeride paradise just next to the skiing area at Passo del Tonale. This freeride arena suits every different riding level - from beginners to experienced - as it is possible from the very beginning to pick the line that suits your riding style and technique the best. The exposition and the high altitude make it - at the same time - well softened up by the sun rays while the snow often maintains good quality.

Description

The access to this line is really easy and fast, starting from the parking lot at Passo Tonale (1883m) a cableway will lead you to Passo Paradiso before then - after switching some more lifts - getting you to the top of the present gondola. From here you have to ski down a few meters and enter the valley on rider’s right: it is a long way down from here on, with many different lines and possibilities. Just remember to check your location on the map if you are not used to the area yet, there is a tunnel you have to take in order to get back to the Passo Tonale, skiing further down would mean a long hike back.

After a long traverse back to the pass, a few steps are required too in order to get back at the bottom station of Passo Paradiso cableway - now you can either choose to ride again the same run or pick another one among the most beautiful lines in the area such as Dito or Diavolo.
