Beneath the lifts of Le Tour you’ll find a couple of purpose-built downhill mountain bike tracks of varying difficulties. Les Marmottes is an easy flow line, and Les Cerfs is a more difficult flow/jump line with the occasional wooden feature thrown into the mix.

Description

While these downhill trails still get ridden quite frequently, the quality of the trail tread can vary dramatically depending on the time of the year, or depending on the last time the resort decided to do any work on the trails. At the time of this writing, most of the trail is in relatively good shape, but certain features have been pulled out, are under construction (or de-construction), and several sections of trail have been bulldozed by heavy machinery.

Currently, some of the sections that do remain rideable are quite promising. Most of the berms on Les Cerfs are well-built and flow-inducing, with both high and low lines. The intact jumps offer respectable air opportunities, and be sure to keep an eye out for a big rock drop feature with a roller option.

Unfortunately, in order to hit these sweet sections of trail, you’ll have to keep your eyes open for timber features that are in disrepair and sections of singletrack that are missing. Ride heads-up, and hopefully Les Cerfs sees an overhaul for next season.

Mostly stable trail tread with some variability featuring larger and more unavoidable obstacles that may include, but not be limited to: bigger stones, roots, steps, and narrow curves. Compared to lower intermediate, technical difficulty is more advanced and grades of slopes are steeper. Ideal for upper intermediate riders.
