Hiking guide in Ravenna Monastery. The monastery of Ravenna is located 300 meters above the village of Goranxi. The monastery stands out for its historical and cultural values. This monastery was built in the year 1600. After visiting the monastery, we will continue our journey to the top of Bido, 1547 meters above sea level, where we will see the picturesque view offered by the surrounding landscape, where the valleys stand out, the town of Delvina and the view from the Ionian Sea. Then we will go down to go to the village of Vrisera where we will visit the cave of Skotinise and get to know its history. The Skotinise cave is located near the village of Vanistër, 220 m above sea level. It is a karst cave formed in the upper Cretaceous limestone. It is up to 150 meters long, up to 10 m wide and up to 25 m high and forms a real labyrinth full of twists and turns. It is not an ordinary cave. Inside the cave is a lake with clear turquoise waters. There is also a legend about this cave. Once a woman went in to get some water for her family, but she drowned in the lake. Her body was found in Lake Virua, 10 km away from that place. This means that this spring is connected to Lake Virua and both are connected on land with the most beautiful natural phenomena the Blue Eye in Delvine. It is filled with concretions. It has scientific (geological, geomorphological, hydrological), didactic, ecological and cultural values. The terrain of this area is mainly rocky and with low bushes.
