Starting out at the car park at the Putty Beach Reserve, the track hugs the coastline on its way past Bullimah Beach, Maitland Bay and down towards Little Beach. Along the way, there are plenty of detours to be had, all promising spectacular views out across the Pacific Ocean.

Although the trail is relatively long, it is well-marked and cared for, meaning there are few technical stretches. There are areas across rocky terrain, but for the most part it is boardwalk and gravel pathways.

That's not to say the trail isn't 'wild', though. There is plenty of flora and fauna along the track, and it's always worth keeping an eye out for passing sea life.

It is a full day hike so taking enough water and pack snacks is essential. It is also recommended to wear good walking shoes, hat, and sunscreen.
