This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features high exposure and is typically done between April and September. From a low point of 253 m to the maximum altitude of 1.3 km, the route covers 22 km, 1808 vertical metres of ascent and 1809 vertical metres of descent.

A long day of mostly thick scrub, good views and a decent day adventure, some grade 4 scrambling with exposure. Solid off track navigation required
