Gosau Dorfloipe

The Dorfloipe starts the same as the Märchenwald-Loipe. At the junction over the Gosaubach bridge, keep right. You pass the Vitalhotel Gosau and walk in the direction of Mittertal to the right of the Gosaubach, past the Gosauerhof. In the Mittertal you cross the Gosaubach and walk right from the road back to the sports centre. Afterwards you glide hurriedly downhill along the Gosausee country road. At the Hotel Sommerhof you cross the main road and Gosaubach. geht´s on the right side of the Gosaubach before you come to a long loop at the former Gasthof Gamsjäger. After a short way back you reach a fork where you turn left, cross the bridge of the Gosaubach and cross the main road. On the other side geht´s alternating slightly uphill and downhill through the Hintertal. Walk back along the main road, after which you first stay on the right bank and then change to the other side of the stream shortly before the Hornspitz lifts. Continue geht´s past the large ski lift car park and some houses. After a long straight line, the cross-country ski trail changes sides for the last time and leads you straight ahead to the finish at the sports centre.
