The theme path "Beginnings of the Workers' Movement" was opened on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Goisern Workers' Education Association on 27 September 2018. the Goisern Workers' Education Association was founded on 26 July 1868 and approved on 27 September 1868 by the KuK Governthalterei in Linz and was not only one of the first in the Danube Monarchy but undoubtedly one of the most active and successful of its time. the modern welfare state in small format was created here.
