Gosau: Intersport Klettersteig Donnerkogel

Hold on and ascend is the motto of the sporty summit victory at the Great Donnerkogel. Here the climb becomes a challenge even for experienced climbers. The entrance to the sportive climbing pleasure is at the Gablonzerhütte, near the mountain station of the Gosaukammbahn.

In two stages one overcomes in approximately 2 1/2 hours the 1100 height meters. The first step is a short "adventure via ferrata" over the Törleck, which is easy to moderately difficult to master. Then the transition to the Großer Donnerkogel (2005m) is difficult to classify, which one can choose with great adventurous desire over the Donnermandl (difficult to very difficult).
