This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's extremely remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between January and February. From a low point of 750 m to the maximum altitude of 2.2 km, the route covers 10 km, 565 vertical metres of ascent and 1642 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 3.1 and Labande grade 3. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Although the ascent is short, this is quite a serious journey through some big, south facing terrain. In the right conditions, it is epic!
