This is a popular snow shoeing route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's very remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between December and April. From a low point of 1.4 km to the maximum altitude of 2.2 km, the route covers 14 km, 1032 vertical metres of ascent and 1031 vertical metres of descent.

Description

After leaving the Brenner train station and walking for a few minutes we ascend the Kreuzjoch east side, after which we will descend to Obernberg am Brenner.
