3-Wannen-Tour from Faschina to Oberdamüls Map

Embark on a delightful journey from Faschina to Oberdamüls, weaving through the three Wannen in a charming Alpine escapade! For those feeling particularly spirited, the initial climb can kick off from the Faschina valley station. Now, brace yourself for a touch of uphill humor – because let's face it, every ascent needs a punchline!

Description

One playful twist to the route involves an optional short climb to the Glatthorn saddle before the main event. Think of it as the warm-up act, setting the stage for the real show. But, fear not, for this detour is entirely at your discretion; consider it the Alpine equivalent of choosing between regular and decaf.

The curtain rises at the mountain station, where a short ascent and a bit of bootpacking along a modest ridge get you warmed up for the main event – the grand descent over the three Wannen, a symphony of snow and slopes! It's like a downhill dance party where your skis or snowboard are the dance partners, and the mountain is the dance floor.

Now, for a touch of drama (because every good story needs a plot twist), as you descend into the lower region, a brief sojourn through the woody landscape awaits. It's a bit like entering the enchanted forest, but instead of encountering magical creatures, you'll find your way through the trees like a snow-covered explorer.

And, ah, avalanche danger – the mountain's way of keeping us on our toes! As you revel in the snowy splendor, always be mindful of the unpredictable side of nature. Avalanche safety is no joke, especially in this very terrain – it's like the mountain's way of saying, "I've got some surprises up my snowy sleeve." So, equip yourself with knowledge, gear, and a buddy. The best way to stay safe is to not go - the next best is to get an experienced guide. Skischule Oberdamüls will gladly help you out. Please stay safe!

In the end, dear adventurer, may your journey be filled with laughter, picturesque descents, and just the right amount of alpine charm as you traverse from Faschina to Oberdamüls through the whimsical three Wannen!
