Starting point is the hiking parking place at Tschengla, Bürserberg. Normally this tour is done very often, so finding the way up will be quite easy. The whole accent will take about 1 1/2 hours. The peak is covered with mountain pines. Therefore it needs enough snow on the top of the mountain to do this variant.

Description

Once you are on top, the view is breath taking. You can see till the lake constance (and on good days even further). Also the Schesaplana (highest peak of the Rätikon), Zimba ("Vorarlberger Matterhorn"), Rote Wand and a lot more stunning peaks are just around the corner and may inspire you to even bigger adventures.

The terrain is also suitable for beginners, but experienced skiers will find steep sections on the north face. There are a lot of possibilities for descents, especially down to the Furkla Alpe, even though finding a drop in could be quite demanding some time.

If you want to take it easy, going down the south side of the ridge will be your choice. Just soul free riding on a moderate steep slope (about 35°).

In the middle section you have a lot of tree runs which will be also rewarding on foggy days. The whole area is a play ground. If you don't have enough you can take some rides in the near by ski area.
