The couloir is 40 -45 degree and it is very wide. The severe difficultness comes from that the couloir is most of the time full of transfered snow from the plateau. Its width makes it ideal for large avalanches. It is wiser before you ski it to be sure that the avalanche conditions are low.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.

As well as the slope itself, there are some obstacles (such as rock outcrops) which could aggravate injury.
