This is a popular cross country skiing route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between November and May. From a low point of 1.7 km to the maximum altitude of 2.2 km, the route covers 10 km, 513 vertical metres of ascent and 513 vertical metres of descent.

Description

The Bald Hills Trail is a fire road that climbs steadily through the forest, and eventually breaks above timberline on the Bald Hills Ridge, where views are magnificent.
