The Stanley Park Seawall is an incredible local amenity for Vancouver residents. This beautiful oceanside pathway circumnavigates Stanley Park and provides separated lanes for bicycle and pedestrian traffic. These separated lanes are necessary due to the massive amount of traffic that this pathway enjoys. Thankfully, these traffic patterns help keep the crowds moving quickly and free of conflicts.

Description
Since the entire pathway is separated from traffic, this is the perfect spot for a scenic walk or run without having to risk life and limb while playing chicken with cars. The Seawall and the trails within Stanley Park are almost constantly filled with hikers and runners taking advantage of this incredible natural area located just steps from downtown Vancouver.
It's easy to see why the Stanley Park Seawall is so popular—the views from this seaside pathway are absolutely gorgeous! You'll enjoy views of the bay, the Vancouver Skyline, and the North Vancouver Skyline. You'll be able to see the massive ships go in and out from the port and enjoy gorgeous sunset views across the water.
On a warm day, swimmers and sunbathers flock to the beaches along the western side of Stanley Park. If you get too hot on your walk or run, consider a quick dip in the cold ocean waters to cool off.
If this 6-mile loop isn't enough mileage for you, consider extending your hike or run with a section of the Vancouver Seawall or by utilizing the gravel trails that crisscross the hilly interior of Stanley Park.
