The better Mount Peter scramble Route Map

Mount Peter gives some stunning views of its surrounding peaks especially commander glacier, Mount Farnham and Mount McCoubrey. It's a pretty chill ascent up with few difficult steps and is more of a route finding exercise to find the best way up. Its a chossy mountain with the the south ridge being a nice ridgewalk before getting into the scrambling. The scrambling itself is mainly class 3 but ventures into class 4 terrain at times. The exposure is rarely very much but has a couple sections where the exposure gets a little higher. You can either descend the same way up or take a couloir on the south face which has a couple harder downclimbing steps.
