Lightning strike & Ripple ridge Map

Ripple ridge is long to reach, with bootpack to reach summit and all along ridgeline. Incredible view and challenging route with climbing skills required. Once up on the ridge, a rope and crampons would have been usefull, so bring them with you if you have some. Both downhill descente where excellent, with good terrain and snow. Start this tour early, as it took us around 9h with the route finding on the way down the ridge and the comeback from the bowl to the parking lot. Alternative way back is down the valley, following the highway, so you save the hike back up on the ridge.
