Note: The Babines generally do not get a deep snow pack and are victim to harsh winds. For this reason, most of the routes in this area are not inductive of good skiing until later in the season; and even then be cautious of a weak facetted snowpack in shallow areas.

Description

Starting from the L'Orsa cabin follow the access trail south until the opening after the slide path on the East side of the trail (past the narrow bridge). Navigate under the cliff band staying in the open as long as you can to avoid the dense vegetation. Once in the alpine, route choice becomes less exclusive and leaves more room for creativity.
