When the snow line is low enough, and there is enough snow on the ground, this is a fantastic ski! You start in the Luz Ardiden ski area (there is a bus up from town) and from the top of the Cloze lift. Then just ski off the back into a beautiful, magical, wonderland! There are so many different lines to take and adventures to have. Remember to traverse out left (northeast) at the bottom and gain the summer trail from the cabins to reach the road. The ski out on the road is downhill almost the entire way, with just a short walk section. At the main road, the Route de l'Ardiden, you can meet/leave your shuttle car, or even hitchhike back to town.
