Crete Bedera - #1 Map

The first of the couloirs on Bedera ridge (crete Bedera) is one of the best. There are several options to ski, all slightly varying in aspect and/or length. So if the conditions are questionable, something might be skiable here. Also, for some reason, the cornices that often form at the top of couloirs on Bedera tend not to form here, or at least not as big. The tops of some of the options can be 50+ degrees. The difficulty rating for this route uses the posted FATMAP criteria. See more at www.couloirquest.com.
