The Ardiden Angel is a super in-bounds route. It is unique because the steepest and narrowest section is toward the bottom, below the "Angel Wings". When there is not a lot of snow accumulation, the narrow point can have rocks. It faces northwest and tends to keep good snow conditions. See more info and photos at www.couloirquest.com. Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.

Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
