Spaetzle Map

Named Spaetzle in reference to the Pic Allemand to the north, this couloir (and the 2 to it's climber's right) is a great powder, or corn ski. Ski it when you can, as the south facing ridge of the Aygues Cluses valley can melt out and become inaccessable. To make a bigger day of it, you can link it with sking another couloir on the same ridge, down valley, or skiing something off Pic de la Touatere on your way out. More info and photos on www.couloirquest.com. The difficulty rating for this route uses the posted FATMAP criteria.
