This couloir isnt the rock walled sort as much as it is a strip of snow that stays filled in when the rest of the slope is rocky. It is steep and narrow, so thus fun to ski. Taking the via ferrata to access it is fun, and a safer route than trying to climb and walk along the rocky slope. It might be prohibited to use the via ferrata, but it is unclear. It can also be climbed from the bottom. More info and photos at www.couloirquest.com. The difficulty rating for this route uses the posted FATMAP criteria.
