Aulon - Forest couloir.

A little adventure through the woods opposite Aulon in search of the couloir visible from the house. Roughly following the Sentier des Nobis to go up through the forest, before keeping just above the tree line to cross the plateau. We were then perfectly placed to drop into the couloir, you can see the clearing at the top - but dropped too far riders right, so had a little adventure to get back to the couloir. It is very rare that we get snow conditions good enough to ride this couloir - and to be honest we needed a lot more as the couloir is very rocky and we touched the bottom... all the way! Good to go for a little de Le Rue family day out though!!
