Upp í Gvendarskál er stutt en nokkuð brött gönguleið sem liggur að altari Guðmundar góða biskups. Slóðinn liggur upp í gegnum skóginn, er vel stikaður en svolítið grýttur á köflum. Skemmtileg gönguleið í fögru umhverfi með útsýni yfir Hjaltadal og út á Skagafjörð. Við altarið finnur þú kassa með gestabók. Gengið er sömu leið til baka.

Description

English: The Hólabyrða mountain is 1245 m high and about midway up there is the ledge called Gvendarskál. Short, but steep walk on a stony path, along a marked trail to the bishop's altar (Guðmundur the Good). There you will have a beautiful view ower Hjaltadalur valley and the Skagafjörður bay beyond. At the altar you will find a box with a guestbook where you can leave your name. Round trip.
