The prominent bowl seen from the town of Isafjordur across the fjord above the runway, with a steep couloir finish to the plateaux of Kirkjubolsfjall (706m). Park at the small car park and hike directly up the summer path to the bowl where skins can be used to gain height to the entrance of the couloir. Transition to ice axe and crampons to gain the top. Descend your line up.

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
