Tractor Chute Map

The obvious and very skiable line accessed from the excellent south tunnel area. Park up at the south entrance of the Isafjordur road tunnel network. Skin easily up the drainage, and tour and ski around the network of excellent descents that this area holds. The obvious couloir descent of Tractor Chute with its large apron looks over the valley and can be entered from either above or by booting up. A wide moderately angled chute with a small section of 45 degree's opens up onto the expansive apron and from there easily into the river drainage below that ski's back to the tunnel.
