This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be severe. It's remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between January and February. From a low point of 3.9 km to the maximum altitude of 4.2 km, the route covers 2.3 km, 261 vertical metres of ascent and 208 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 4.1 and Labande grade 4. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

Start from G4 and traverse ridge via ski-tour or by foot. Route ends on the ridge where you can choose your own day's end.

Severe

Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.
