Misgav Official Loop Map

The Misgav trails in Segev Forest in Western Galilee are renowned as one of Israel's top mountain biking hotspots. The trail network here has even played host to an enduro race, thanks to some fun, rocky descents sprinkled throughout the network. These rocky downhills prove popular with Israeli riders, drawing mountain bikers from across the region.

Description

The route mapped here is the "Official Loop" that roughly encircles the outside of the trail system. According to reports, the Official Loop was built by the national forestry commission, and it provides a great way to familiarize yourself with the area. However, if you want to hit the gnarliest trails (some of which are even rated as double black diamond descents), you'll have to look for the cross trails and connectors that peel off the main loop.

The trails themselves consist of beautiful dark black dirt hidden beneath the overhanging boughs of the forest. Most of the technical features consist of fantastic embedded rock slabs and rock gardens, with some exposed ledges providing fun drop opportunities.
