Vertigine Map

Vertigine, in English "Vertigo": a new track specifically designed for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Cortina 2021 Men's Downhill and Super-G. It's wide and steep in some sections and the view on Cortina d'Ampezzo is astonishing along its entire path. With a total length of 2,740 meters and a maximum slope grade of 61% on a 840 meters elevation gain. Fast and challenging for the athletes, especially in some sections. The most difficult parts are the "Vertigine" jump, the "Canalone Schuss" and traverse, the "Ghedina" jump - in honour of the famous local athlete Kristian Ghedina - and the final "Marmotte" jump from where the athletes have to keep up their speed until the finish line.
