This is a way to climb to the mount Marucolo top without crossing the skislopes. It climbs up the nowadays closed "Fodestal" slope and then line follows a path in the forest in the right side of Val Negra. The final ascent is through the ridge of the Val Negra with the Valle dei Togni more south.

Slopes become slightly steeper at around 25-30 degrees.
Low Exposure (E1)
Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
