Once left the car at the Verva Pass starts the beautiful trek that leads to the lake immediately under the real approach to the summit. Unfortunately from now on the road is scarcely pointed out, and once at the top of the moraine aim the last couloir on the right. When you are finally out of it head to the ridge, and follow it until the last rocky wall. The overall difficulty of the final climb is a III grade, and if you want to feel safer there are some spit fixes you can use to protect the climb. From the summit you can admire a beautiful view on all the main Valtellina summits and the Bernina group. Overall is a trek that requires a good physical condition both for the distance and the altitude gain, especially if you start from the Eita village. The techincal level required is a base one, in any case make sure to bring with you crampons, ice axe, harness and rope for the last part of the ridge and the rocky wall where the conditions could change due to the weather.
