This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features extreme exposure and is typically done between March and April. From a low point of 1.7 km to the maximum altitude of 3.3 km, the route covers 17 km, 1965 vertical metres of ascent and 1964 vertical metres of descent. You'll need bivy kit, crampons and 2 ice axes to complete it safely.
