This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features extreme exposure and is typically done between February and March. From a low point of 1.2 km to the maximum altitude of 3.2 km, the route covers 11 km, 2172 vertical metres of ascent and 968 vertical metres of descent. You'll need bivy kit, crampons, glacier kit and 2 ice axes to complete it safely.
