Trip starts from the small alpine village of Margone in the Viù Valley, and hiking along an easy road reaches the dam and the Lake of Malciussia, very beautiful due to its strong light blue water, surrounded by green alpin grass. The scene is dominated by the Mount Rocciamelone. From this lake it is possible to hike towards the Lake Nero, so called by the dark colours of its water.
