Western Transalp: Usseglio to Noasca Map

Leaving Usseglio, continue along the main road running down the valley until you hit Versino, where you begin the first climb of the day up to Polpresa. Passing a few small villages on a gravel track, you eventually come to Mezzenile, where you need to cross the river and head on the main road in the direction of Fè and on to Cemesio, and then Passo Forchetta. Stop at Lago di Monastero for a picnic with a spectacular view! Continue up the gravel road to Colle di Giavetta, where you will need to get off and push along a narrow, steep path to Alpe Bianetto. The descent on the other side is technically challenging, and sometimes you may need to get off as you descend down to Molera and on to Locana. In the valley, head down Talstraße for around 13km until you reach Noasca, the final destination for the day!
