This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features extreme exposure (e4) and is typically done between December and March. From a low point of 1.1 km to the maximum altitude of 2.2 km, the route covers 2.6 km, 14 vertical metres of ascent and 1151 vertical metres of descent. It's graded 5.5 and Labande grade 7. You'll need rope, skins, ice axe, crampons and glacier kit to complete it safely.
