Punta Grober "Cammelli route" Map

The Grober Peak is a fabulous summit with an incredible view of the East face of the Monterosa. The access for this descent follows the first part the Locce itinerary until the base of the "Canalino Pisati". Before reaching the Canalino Pisati, climb the steep couloir on the left, if there is little snow coverage, some passages on rocks are demanding (maximum 3° UIAA, 30mt rope). Once you reach the ridge, exit right along it travelling W, following it to the summit experiencing varying ascending and descending conditions. Normally you will do most of the climb with crampons. The descent takes the same route in reverse and is awesome, picturesque and steep (45°).
